BOSTON (CBS) – It was a “Buy or Sell” Monday with Rich Keefe on The Adam Jones Show’s Game Of Jones.
Here are the topics Keefe had to tackle:
– Buy Or Sell: Steve Ballmer is the most entertaining owner in sports.
“Off the top of my head I’m gonna sell it because I think Mark Cuban may be a little more entertaining, although Steve Ballmer may be giving him a run for his money — actually, he has more money than Mark Cuban! I’m still selling it,” said Keefe.
– Buy Or Sell: Stevan Ridley’s job with the Patriots is in jeopardy after his latest fumble.
“I’m gonna sell that as well. I’m going to sell it being in jeopardy right now, but I think we all know if he gets into the season and that problem is still there, then he could be done,” said Keefe.
– Buy Or Sell: The WWE Network
“It’s just $9.99, but you have to commit for six months so it’s more like $60. I think it’s a good get. You get all the Pay-Per-Views past and present. It’s a good deal. If it was any higher than that I’d be out. So I’m gonna buy that,” said Keefe. “If you by WrestleMania in HD it’s like $60 itself, so I think it’s worth it. I’m buying it, quite literally.”
– Buy Or Sell: Jackie Bradley Jr.’s time in the majors in Boston is done.
“I’m gonna buy that. Jackie Bradley is done. You’ve got Yoenis Cespedes and Allen Craig on the roster. You’ve still got Daniel Nava, you’ve got Mookie Betts. You’re going to have to move on from some outfielders. Let’s not forget Shane Victorino. Even though Jackie Bradley Jr. is the best defensive outfielder of that group, they’re not gonna carry his .216 batting average. So I think he’s done. I’ll buy that his time is done,” said Keefe.
– Buy Or Sell: Atlantic City as a bachelor party destination.
“I would say buy. It’s not Vegas, but it’s also not even as close to the amount for a flight. It’s not going to be as expensive. There’s still a lot to do. I will buy it,” said Keefe.
