Daily Talker: Would You Walk Off The Job To Support A Fired Boss?

The new co-chief executives of the Market Basket supermarket chain are warning any workers who walk off the job today could be fired.

Employees loyal to former CEO Arthur T. Demoulas are pushing for his reinstatement. A message posted on a website set up by some of the protesting workers say 120 managers and office staff at the company's headquarters in Tewksbury will walk off the job on Friday, and that a rally will be held at 10 a.m.

Market Basket is a privately held chain. Demoulas lost his job in June in a long-running battle with a cousin for control of the company.
