Meter-Feeding App Will Let You Pay For Parking With Smartphone

BOSTON (CBS) – Ever been frustrated after finding an ideal parking spot and then realizing you don't have cash to feed the meter?

Soon there will be an app to take care of that.

Boston's Transportation Department is developing a smart phone app to allow you to pay for a metered spot.

Once you download the app to your iPhone or Android and register you can pay with your phone. It also allows you to add money to your account as needed.

The app is expected to be available by this fall.
