Red Sox Let Fans Try On Some Championship Bling
BOSTON (CBS) – Red Sox fans had a chance to experience the thrill of wearing a World Series ring – three in fact – Saturday at Fenway Park.
From 3 to 5 p.m., fans lined up to try on the rings from the Red Sox 2004, 2007 and 2013 World Series championships. They also were able to have their photos taken wearing the rings alongside the trophies from those three championships.
The event promoted the Red Sox Foundation's World Series Ring Raffle, which is raising funds to support families throughout New England. The raffle tickets start at $10 with five chances to win.
