The Celtics announced on Friday co-owner Steve Pagliuca will be the team’s representative at the 2014 NBA Draft Lottery later this month on May 20. Was he the right decision, or could Boston have chosen a more unorthodox option? That was the subject to open today’s “Celtics @ 7” with Adam Kaufman. The host offered a number of fun suggestions, for the sake of thinking a little outside the box.
Later in the show, Kaufman was joined by Detroit Free Press Michigan beat writer Mark Snyder to discuss NBA-bound Wolverines stars Nik Stauskas, Glenn Robinson III, and Mitch McGary. Of the group, Stauskas is the most likely to land in Boston in the June draft.
The show wrapped by taking a spin around the league to look at a very exciting opening round to the NBA playoffs.
