BAA Promises Investigation Into Fake Bibs Used During Boston Marathon

BOSTON (CBS) - The Boston Athletic Association is promising to investigate cases of fake bibs used during the Boston Marathon.

Several runners saw their numbers on other people during Monday's race, including one woman who says she believes here number was stolen after she posted a photo of it on a social media site.

Qualified runners are required to pay a $175 entrance fee to cover the costs associated with the race, including runner resources before, during and after the race.

The BAA says bandits can pose a security threat and can also stretch resources.
