METHUEN (CBS) – A third person was arrested Wednesday for the stabbing of student at Methuen High School.

Police said three young men approached an 18-year-old senior outside the school Tuesday afternoon and stabbed him in the buttocks.

All three ran off into the nearby woods.

Levi Jose Cruzetta, 19, a former Methuen High student, was captured a short time later.

Justin Suriel, 18, then turned himself into police.

The third suspect, 18-year-old Jomar Vega, was arrested “without incident,” police tweeted Wednesday.

There’s no word yet on a motive.

Police said the unidentified victim was taken to Holy Family Hospital with a non-life threatening injury.
