27-Year-Old Braintree Woman Killed In Expressway Crash In Boston

BOSTON (CBS) - A 27-year-old Braintree woman was killed in a crash early Thursday morning in Boston.

Police say Alycia Rice crashed into the concrete center barrier on I-93 southbound near the entrance to the HOV Lane.

EMTs rushed Rice to Boston Medical Center, where she died.

State Police say Rice was the only person involved in the crash.

Troopers are investigating what caused her to swerve into the median.
