BOSTON (CBS) – The Boston Bruins were firing on all cylinders Tuesday night, beating the Florida Panthers 4-1 at the TD Garden.

The Bruins peppered Tim Thomas all night, sending 38 shots his way, and David Krejci found the back of the net three times for his third career hat trick.

Adam Jones discusses the pluses and minuses from Tuesday night’s win:

1. Krejci’s Hat Trick: Normally a play-maker for his teammates, Krejci was aggressive and light the lamp three times.

2. Iginla A Plus-3: Scored his 19th goal of the season in the first period, and assisted on Krejci’s final goal of the night.

3. Chara’s Big Night: Played a team-high 25:15 with three shots on goal, three hits and finished a plus-3.

1. Florida’s Only Goal: It was deflected in off Matt Bartkowski, ending Chad Johnson’s shutout bid.

2. The Tim Thomas/Roberto Luongo Relationship: An interesting dynamic for however long it lasts.

3. Bruins Silent So Far: Are they going to do anything at the deadline? Other teams are making moves, why aren’t they???

Jones welcomed Dave Goucher and Bob Beers on to break down Boston’s 4-1 win over the Panthers:
