On this morning’s “Celtics @ 7″ host Adam Kaufman dove into the week that was for All-Star Rajon Rondo. Fans and media alike have continued to question Rondo’s leadership in the wake of Birthdaygate – the guard’s decision to stay behind in LA to celebrate his 28th birthday last weekend rather than traveling to Sacramento with the team for a game he wasn’t slated to appear in.

Kaufman thinks the situation has been blown out of proportion by the media, but does question exactly how it affects the dynamic between Rondo, coach Brad Stevens, and president of basketball operations Danny Ainge. Comcast SportsNet New England’s Abby Chin joined the program to discuss that and much more concerning Rondo, and also provided an update on the club’s poor health and gave her thoughts on the 2014 draft.
