Temp Rise...

Morning low temperatures bottomed out in the single digits...again...but the worst of the cold is behind us now and temps will moderate as we head into the weekend.  A frontal system will stall over New England this weekend leading to a chance for rain or snow showers at times making it a bit unsettled but it will also lead to much milder air working in for a change.  By Sunday the front will lift north and temps will climb into the 40s!

We won't see any storms for the next several days as the jet stream goes more zonal but next week it will try to buckle again leading to a couple of storm chances.  The first chance is for a mixed precipitation storm middle of the week with a messy concoction of snow, sleet, freezing rain and rain Tuesday night into Wednesday.

The second is over a week away but and a lot can change but next weekend may end up stormy as well.
