A petition on the White House website asking that troubled Canadian pop star Justin Bieber be deported is nearing the 100,000 needed to require an official response from the Obama administration.

Since it was created on January 23rd by someone in Michigan, the petition has received more than 97,500 online signatures. Bieber has been in trouble with the law recently, for allegedly street racing in Florida, and throwing eggs at a neighbor’s house in Los Angeles.

“He is not only threatening the safety of our people but he is also a terrible influence on our nations youth,” says the petition.

Do you think Bieber is being unfairly singled out? Or should be be deported? Share your comments below, and watch for them on WBZ News in the Morning from 4:30 to 7:00 am.
