Chris Johnson Signs 10-Day Contract With Celtics
BOSTON (CBS) - The Boston Celtics have signed Chris Johnson to a 10-day contract, the team announced Friday.
No, not the same Chris Johnson that played four games for the C's back in the 2010-11 season. This is a whole new Chris Johsnon.

The 6-6 forward averaged 19.4 points and 6.8 rebounds over 20 games with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBA Development League this season. Johnson was shooting 47.0 percent from the field, 36.7 percent from three-point territory and 84.1 percent from the free throw line before becoming the 14th player to get called up to the NBA from the D-League this season.

Johnson has eight NBA games under his belt, all coming last season while with the Memphis Grizzlies. He averaged 3.6 points and 1.4 rebounds over 12.8 minutes per game, shooting 44.0 percent from the field and 33.0 percent from behind the arc.
