Boston, Denver Mayors Make Friendly Wager On Patriots-Broncos Game

BOSTON (CBS) - The mayors of Boston and Denver have announced a friendly wager on Sunday's AFC Championship game.

If the Patriots win, Denver Mayor Michael Hancock will wear Mayor Marty Walsh's Patriots jersey during a session of next week's U.S. Conference of Mayors.

He'll also ship Mayor Marty Walsh some of Denver's green chile as well as a hoodie, cap and handmade skis from Denver-based Icelantic Skis.

If the Broncos win, Mayor Walsh will wear Mayor Hancock's Denver jersey during the conference in Washington D.C.

He'll also send him five pounds of chocolate turtles from Phillips Candy House in Dorchester, and, in honor of Denver's expanded library hours, Walsh will make a donation to Denver Public Libraries of inscribed books by Boston's hometown authors.
