BOSTON (CBS) – In the opening hour of Tuesday’s Felger and Mazz, Jermaine Wiggins joined the fun for a “Wiggy Tuesday.”
Felger, Mazz and Wiggy discussed the Patriots’ win over the Colts on Saturday night, and whether they are more confident in this team now despite the loss of Rob Gronkowski last month. Additionally, they analyzed the team putting Brandon Spikes on IR, and also listen to some “Stoney Tony” from Toucher and Rich this morning:
In hour two, Wiggins joined the boys for another hour and continued to discuss the upcoming battle between the Patriots and Broncos. They took a look at Peyton Manning’s playoff woes and wondered what the veteran QB will have in him for Sunday’s game. The guys also did their usual “10 questions with Wiggy” segment and had Jermaine answer questions from the CBS Audio Roadshow app.
In hour three of Felger and Mazz, the guys took a closer look at Wes Welker and his role in the Pats-Broncos matchup. Did Wes make the right decision still by leaving New England for Denver? Are the Pats better off for letting him go? And what play did he make it the regular season matchup between the two teams that could loom large this weekend? The guys break it down.
In the final hour of Felger and Mazz, the guys continued their talk about the Broncos-Patriots AFC Championship and Wes Welker. They took a look at Welker’s decision to leave New England for Denver as well as Robert Kraft’s comments on the situation. The boys wrapped things up with the Final Word with Marc Bertrand.
