Amber Alert Issued For Missing 6-Year-Old Fitchburg Girl

UPDATE: Child Found, Amber Alert Cancelled

FITCHBURG (CBS) - An Amber Alert has been activated for a six-year-old girl who is believed to have been abducted from Fitchburg.

The girl, Alize Whipple, is described as a black female approximately 3'9" tall, weighing 45 pounds with dark hair. She was last seen wearing a pink top, pink petite pants and pink sparkly shoes.

She was last seen on Wednesday at approximately 4:00PM on Normandy Road in Fitchburg.

Alize is believed to have been abducted by her non-custodial mother, 50-year-old Leeanna Wilson, of Fitchburg. Leeanna is described as white, approximately 5'5" tall, weighing 135 pounds with strawberry blonde hair. There is reason to believe Leeanna may cause harm to the child.

Leeanna Wilson was believed to be driving a blue 1996 Buick Century with South Carolina license plate JJT687. Leominster Police say that car was found empty in a parking lot on North Main Street Friday night.
