BOSTON (CBS) - Former Boston College standout and current Indianapolis Colts left tackle Anthony Castonzo was a guest on the Toucher & Rich show Thursday morning to talk about Saturday’s game against the Patriots.

He’s been doing his homework on the Patriots defense, and what stands out to him right away is just how well coached they are, having the ability to always be in the right place at the right time.

One player sticks out specifically: Patriots defensive end Chandler Jones.

“He’s obviously a very long guy, he’s got long arms and he’s quick. He definitely presents a challenge. That’s why I always think about my technique, because when you come up against guys who are great athletes like he is, you got to go back to the fundamentals.”

A lighter topic of discussion was the facial hair choice of one Andrew Luck. He’s the face of the Colts franchise, but what graces that face is one of the more awful beards of all time.

“It looks like a human head growing out of a bush,” Rich joked.

“I just think that’s kind of been his look for awhile now since college,” Castonzo told the show.

“I think that’s just where it grows on him, so he’s growing the facial hair that he can and just kind of rolling with it. I appreciate a quarterback leader that doesn’t care about his appearance that much. We all love it.”
