Man Fulfilling Brother's Will Of Leaving Generous Tips

PORTSMOUTH (CBS) 23-year-old Taylor Dube usually makes 50 dollars in tips on a given day waiting tables at the Gaslight Pizza Pub, but Wednesday one generous tipper left her 10 times her normal payout.

Dube says the Portsmouth, NH restaurant was mostly empty when Seth Collins of Kentucky walked in and ordered the pizza buffet, costing $6.50. She only expected him to leave a couple bucks for a tip. Instead, he left $500.

"I'm just the receiver," said Dube. "He's the hero."

This joy all started with Collins' brother Aaron Collins. Aaron died last year, leaving behind a will requesting that his family go out to eat and leave an "awesome tip." Collins carried out and recorded his brother's last wish.

"I did it the first time," said Collins. "It went viral. People donated about $50,000 in a few days. Since then I've been going around leaving $500 tips."

Collins has been traveling the country trying to leave generous tips in every state. According to Collins, he's got $10,000 left to tip his way through the East Coast.

"It's rewarding...(because) I get to make their day and hopefully inspire generosity in that person," said Collins. "Beyond that, creating this legacy for my brother and creating these pockets of people all around the world who know about him and will always remember him."

"Maybe (Collins) doing that will make me more of a giver and people hearing the story, it will just continue," said Dube.

Collins said his next stop is Boston.
