Dorchester Man Arrested For Allegedly Assaulting Arlington Middle School Student
ARLINGTON (CBS) – A Dorchester man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a 15-year-old middle school student.
Arlington Police say 35-year-old Jose Alexis Rodriguez-Laboy picked the student up from Ottoson Middle School Wednesday and drove to a location off school grounds, where the assault allegedly took place. Investigators believe the suspect and the victim recently met in an online chat room.
Rodriguez-Laboy has been charged with Indecent Assault and Battery and will be arraigned in Cambridge District Court on Friday.
Police say Rodriguez-Laboy may face additional charges.
