Wednesday's Child: 15-Year-Old Meg

BOSTON (CBS) --- Megan, who goes by Meg, is a dynamic and energetic 15-year-old Caucasian teen. She is friendly, sociable, and enjoys participating in several after-school activities. She takes pride in being part of the yearbook and newspaper clubs, as well as the school choir. Although she can be shy about performing solo in front of an audience, she enjoys singing and dancing as part of the group. Additionally, Meg is quite adept at arts and crafts and also enjoys her culinary classes at school. She likes making jewelry and has even created a wallet of her own design.

Meg is looking forward to joining an adoptive family and would do best with a family that can help her channel her energy into her interests and can support her passions. She has suffered many disappointments and deserves a family who will give her their attention and love her through her moments of stubbornness and the ups and downs of her teenage years. Meg has proven to be resilient and will continue to blossom under the guidance of a two-parent or a single female household in which she is either the only child or has siblings not close in age to her. Meg is legally free for adoption and will need to maintain contact with her older sister.

To learn more about Meg and about adoption from foster care, call the Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange (MARE) at 617-54-ADOPT (617-542-3678) or visit www.MAREinc.org. The sooner you call, the sooner a waiting child will have "a permanent place to call HOME."
