Bitter...

Act like a bear and hibernate until tomorrow...that's the easy way out. But if you are tough...and I know many of you are...today will have a Winter feel all day long.  Yesterday's arctic front is south of us and the core of the cold is in place...today's highs only in the upper 30s but with the wind will feel like 20s.

The same large high pressure cell that is delivering us the coldest air in quite some time will also be responsible for negating it.  As the high slides to our south, winds will shift from NW to SW and with time will be enough to moderate temps back into the 50s for the end of the week and the upcoming weekend.

Another large storm system will be taking shape to our west but this one will travel to our NW keeping us on the warmer side of the storm.  The result...mild air hangs around until Tuesday and a solid dose of rain will fall Monday night into Tuesday morning.  Leading up to that event...most of the weekend will be dry and mild with temps in the 50s...there is a slight chance of showers on Sunday as the flow becomes more southerly and a warm front approaches from the south.
