Week 9 Fantasy Advice From Dave Richard On Toucher & Rich

Fantasy Football guru Dave Richard joined the Toucher and Rich Show Wednesday morning to give his Week 9 sleepers. He also answered some bye week questions and revealed which Patriots player to drop.

Fred kicked off the interviewed asking Dave which player he feels is due for a breakout week, someone that should be picked up in time for Sunday. Dave likes the Alex Smith matchup against Buffalo.

"I think Alex Smith of the Kansas City Chiefs goes out and has a big day at Buffalo," said Richard. "You look at how Buffalo has been against the pass this year and it's been horrible. Quarterbacks have done very very well against them. I'm getting the feeling that Alex Smith is going to be better than Tom Brady in fantasy this week. This is a guy you can go pick up off waivers if you're in pinch at quarterback."

Dave also likes Jake Locker of the Tennessee Titans, who has thrown at least two touchdowns in four straight weeks and has a favorable matchup against St. Louis. However, it's bad news for Patriots wide receiver Kenbrell Thompkins - Dave Richards thinks it's over for the rookie.

"It's time to say goodbye to Kenbrell Thompkins. You look at how the Patriots have been playing and you've seen a lot more Aaron Dobson making plays downfield. I think the focus has shifted towards him in the offense away from Kenbrell. You can find somebody better on waivers."

To find out what to do with Atlanta running back Steven Jackson, Tony Romo, Cam Newton and which fantasy defenses are due for a big week, listen to the entire interview below:
