BOSTON (CBS) – Red Sox relief pitcher Ryan Dempster may have flown under the radar when he gave up a home run in the late innings of the Red Sox’s World Series Game 1 win.
But on Friday, with the team coming off a tough loss in Game Two, it was Dempster who stole the spotlight for a short time when he showed up for the bus to the airport donning a very loud plaid suit.
The team left Fenway Park Friday morning, and boarded a plane to St. Louis.
They’re expected to arrive early Friday afternoon.
Game 3 is Saturday night.
