NH Day Care Teacher Charged With Assaulting Toddler

MERRIMACK, N.H.  (CBS) --- A New Hampshire day care teacher is accused of assaulting a 2-year-old she was caring for.

The Merrimack Police say Sharon Quigley, 51, of Milford, N.H., assaulted the toddler who was enrolled at The Learning Experience on Route 101-A.

Quigley was the child's teacher, police say.

Quigley has been charged with simple assault.

She turned herself in to police and was released on $1,500 bail pending her arraignment Nov. 12.
