Gresh & Zo: Latest Thoughts On Amendola Injury
Reports are that Patriots wide receiver won't undergo surgery, but he will miss some time with a groin injury.
Amendola was limited with a groin injury in the week leading up to the Patriots' season opener in Buffalo, and he left the field late in the second quarter grabbing the injured area. However, he returned to play in the second half. He began practicing again Monday after he missed the Jets game last Thursday night.
This got Gresh & Zo wondering, if Danny Amendola is injured to the point where he's going to miss three to four weeks why is he out there during practice? When has a guy that was expected to miss several weeks suited up for practice in the past?
Did he participate in more than just the early part of practice that we'll never hear about?
