No one could have predicted that the Patriots would look as bad as they did against the Lions given how good the offense had looked in the first two preseason games.

Unfortunately, New England’s offense couldn’t get anything going and turned the ball over four times in the first half.

Gresh and Wiggy, in for Zolak who’s still in Detroit, react to the Patriots 40-9 loss to the Detroit Lions in their third preseason game.

Despite the score, the guys see many positives to take from the game, including the performance of the first-string defense and undrafted rookie wide receiver Kenbrell Thompkins.
