Scott Brown Exploring Run For President

BOSTON (CBS) ----- Former senator Scott Brown told supporters at the Iowa State Fair Sunday that he is "exploring a possible run" for president in 2016.

Brown told CBS affiliate KCCI he is gauging interest in his "brand of politics."

The fair is a popular spot for politicians prior to throwing their hat into the presidential race.

Brown won the 2010 special election for U.S. Senate, beating Attorney General Martha Coakley.

In 2012, he lost to U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren.

Brown is now with the Nixon Peabody Law Firm in the Boston office and has been rumored to be a contender in the 2014 gubernatorial race.
