Man Arrested After Seen Smoking Under ‘No Smoking’ Sign

BOSTON (CBS) — A man’s failure to abide by a ‘no smoking’ sign has landed him in hot water with police.

On Sunday afternoon, MBTA Transit Police saw a man smoking a cigarette directly under a “no smoking” sign at the Forest Hills station.

Police say when they questioned the man, he was not giving them correct information.

Police soon found the man, identified as Caleb Bickford, 29, of Boston, had two warrants out for his arrest for drug, disorderly conduct and trespassing charges.

Bickford was arrested on the warrants and issued a citation for smoking.
