SOUTH BOSTON (CBS) – A body pulled from Boston Harbor Tuesday afternoon in the waters off of Castle Island has been identified as the 41-year-old passenger who fell off a ferry Saturday evening.

Boston and Quincy police harbor units spotted the body on sonar Tuesday afternoon.

The victim, a Wilmington man, fell off the Provincetown II ferry and disappeared Saturday night.

The Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office has not released the man’s name, but confirmed the remains belonged to that missing passenger.

An autopsy is underway to determine the cause of death.
