‘Urban Raid’ 5K Road Race, Obstacle Course Comes To Downtown Boston

BOSTON (CBS) — Thrill seekers can find what they’re looking for in the city this weekend.

It’s the Urban Raid, a special 5-K road race that includes an obstacle course in downtown Boston. Racers will run, crawl and climb their way through the course.

The race, which is slated to begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, starts and finishes at Faneuil Hall Marketplace. Racers are expected to enter the course in waves, with all participants set to be on the course by 10:30 a.m.

Registration before Friday is $65. Registration on Friday and race day is $75.

The course includes legs through Government Center Plaza, Christopher Columbus Park and along Long Wharf.
