Police say it was a juvenile raccoon.

After a joint effort between Waltham police, fire and animal control, the raccoon was rescued.

Police snapped a photo of the raccoon sound asleep on Tuesday morning, no doubt tired from his big rescue.

The raccoon is said to be doing well.

No word on how that raccoon got stuck in the drain.
