Soakers...

You can feel it in the air again...the muggies are back and there are here to stay through Wednesday morning.  This time around, they won't be accompanied by dangerous heat but a series of fronts will pass through leading to the threat of soaking showers and thunderstorms.  A warmfront will be approaching from the south tonight and will struggle to get through tomorrow...on it's approach, low-level moisture will steadily increase leading to areas of dense fog and low clouds...overnight showers and rumbles will be possible too.  An onshore breeze tomorrow morning will keep the cloud machine going strong before a windshift into the SE starts breaking up the clouds allowing for hazy sun to burn through.  The sun will be nice but it will also add instability to the atmosphere increasing the threat for showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.  The greatest threat within any storm would be drenching rain leading to temporary street flooding.  The threat for storms will continue into evening before a coldfront sweeps offshore ushering in less humid and more stable air for the rest of the workweek.
