Fatal Crash Closes 95 South In Norwood During Morning Commute

BOSTON (CBS) -- A fatal accident closed I-95 South in Norwood for several hours during Monday morning's commute.

State Police say a 2008 Lexus sedan crashed with a 2013 Chevy Silverado, around 4 a.m.

The Lexus then hit the median strip and the bridge abutment.

The driver of the Lexus, 33-year-old Tessalon Bishop of Boston, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the truck was not injured and police say he is not expected to face charges.

The highway was closed at Exit 11 Neponset Street for four hours, traffic was heavily impacted.
