Teen Fatally Shot In Springfield
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) — Police have charged a Springfield man in connection with the slaying of a 19-year-woman that authorities say appears to be a case of domestic violence.
Terrance Brown is scheduled to be arraigned Friday in Springfield District Court on murder and gun charges.
The 22-year-old Brown was arrested at about 8:15 p.m. Thursday, about five hours after the 19-year-old victim was found shot in the chest in a city apartment. She was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The victim's name has not been made public.
Police did not immediately disclose additional details.
