Man Killed In Police-Involved Shooting In Ashland
ASHLAND (CBS) – A man was shot and killed by police officer in Ashland on Tuesday.
Officials say Andrew Stigliano, 27, was outside a home on Metropolitan Avenue Tuesday morning when an officer spotted him.
The officer knew there were warrants out for Stigliano's arrest.
As that officer attempted to arrest Sigliano, police say Stigliano ran inside a home on Metropolitan Avenue and grabbed a shotgun.
When officers tried to get into the house to arrest him, police say he confronted them with that gun.
One of the officers shot and killed Sigliano.
That shooting is under investigation.
