Man And Woman Shot In Car In Dorchester, Child In Backseat Uninjured
BOSTON (CBS) -- A child avoided injury in a day-time shooting, Monday.
Shortly before 2 p.m., police got a report of a shooting near Devon Street and Vaughan Avenue.
Witnesses tell WBZ-TV, they heard at least six gunshots.
A man and woman were both shot while sitting in the front seat of their car.
A child in the backseat was not injured.
The uncle of the woman in the front seat, said the baby girl is 5 months old. He said he doesn't believe his niece had any enemies.
The victims were taken to Boston Medical Center and Brigham and Women's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The child was checked out at Boston Children's Hospital.
