Worcester Residents Warned About Potential Flooding

WORCESTER (CBS) - Despite the heavy downpours the show must go on at the Hanover Theatre in Worcester where people were dodging raindrops and fighting with umbrellas to get to The Addams family on time.

"You can't let the rain ruin everything," said showgoer Kerrie Murphy.

The threat of localized flooding is so high it prompted city officials in Worcester to send out an alert asking people to take precautions and most importantly reminding people not to walk or drive through flowing water.

"We actually hydroplaned," said Nicole Chakarian. "I would suggest you don't go out in it if you don't have to."
