Daily Talker: The Feds Are Watching...Are You Upset?

In 1984 -- Rockwell sang "I always feel like somebody's watching me..."  Nearly 30 years later it turns out that's true.

The feds have been quietly collecting phone records of millions of Americans for years.

Why?

Lawmakers say it's to guard against a terror attack.

Federal judges oversee the program which Congress says is supposed to protect privacy rights.

Late last night - the Washington Post reported it's not just phone records.

The feds are also tapping servers at some of the world's biggest internet providers - like Google, AOL and Yahoo!

The Post reports the feds are looking at pictures, e-mails, photos and connection logs that help security experts hone in on foreign threats.

Is the government overstepping its bounds?  Are you upset or surprised this is happening?
