Daily Talker: Should High School Allow Marine To Wear Uniform At Graduation?

Officials at a New Hampshire high school say a teenager will not be allowed to wear his Marine uniform at graduation this Saturday.  Brandon Garabrant graduates from Marine boot camp the day before. He wanted to wear his Marine uniform instead of the cap and gown, but that's against school policy. School officials say allowing Garabrant to wear military garb could open the door for other uniforms to be worn, like Eagle Scouts. One administrator said "this is a high school graduation, not a military graduation." Brandon's sister, who started a petition drive, told us the school should make an exception saying "They should honor him and take pride that he's going to fight in the military."

Do you think the school should make an exception? Do you agree it could set a precedent?
