Felger & Mazz: June 3, 2013

Hour 1

Felger and Massarotti kicked off the week discussing the Boston Bruins and Saturday's 3-0 Game 1 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins. Does the Bruins Game 1 win change anyones opinion about the series? Did we learn anything about the Penguins after one game? Was Matt Cooke's hit on Adam McQuaid dirty? Also, Brad Marchand was called for boarding against James Neal at the end of the second period. Was Marchand's hit dirty?

In Hour 2 of Felger and Mazz, the guys continued to talk about the series between the Boston Bruins and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Does Sidney Crosby's style hurt his team at times? Felger and Massarotti took a little breather from the Bruins talk to discuss the Boston Red Sox. The Sox just took 2-of-3 from the Yankees in New Work. They have won seven of the last ten games. Is it time to say that the Sox will be better than an 84-win team? Should there be concern with Jacoby Ellsbury missing the series against the Yankees? Has Jose Iglesias finally earned his spot on the Major League roster?

Hour 2

During Hour 3, Felger and Massarotti continued to talk about the Bruins and potential line adjustments. Have the Bruins handled themselves better than the Penguins so far? Are the Bruins in the heads of the Penguins? Do the Penguins lack discipline? The guys also talked some NBA Playoffs. Tonight is Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers. Will LeBron James take control tonight and end the series?

Hour 3

In the fourth and final hour, Felger and Mazz continue to talk about Saturday's Game 1 win for the Bruins and previewing tonight's Game 2. Entering Game 2, what should the B's improve on? What do the Penguins have to improve on? Boston Bruins radio commentator Bob Beers joined the guys to discuss Game 1 and preview Game 2. Could the Penguins be already considering a change of goaltender? Finally, it's The Final Word with Marc Bertrand.
