BOSTON (CBS) – Twelve students at Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania have filed a federal complaint against the school, claiming that there is not enough being done to address and to make students aware of crimes on campus, specifically sexual assault. This puts Swarthmore on a growing list of schools that have seen complaints filed regarding the way they deal with sexual harassment and assault. One of the students bringing the complaint against Swarthmore joins NightSide to talk about the action they are taking, and what led to the decision. What does it say about our society if students at small, elite colleges don’t even feel safe?
