The Weekend...

High pressure is sliding in from the NW and this will lead to more great weather.  Tomorrow will be the better of the two weekend days with ample sunshine and pleasant temps near 70...just like today.  There will also be some seabreezes in the afternoon keeping most coastal towns in the 60s.  The high will anchor itself offshore protecting most of New England from wet weather working in from the west on Sunday.  If any are to get to us they would be focused over Western New England but almost all will stay dry this weekend.  With the high offshore, there will be a more pronounced onshore breeze keeping temps in the middle 60s near the coast and close to 70 inland.  We may not see any rain but we will have more cloud cover dancing in from the west.

Next week we see a bit of a pattern change with unsettled conditions setting up.  Warm and muggy air will work in on the backside of the offshore high.  Showers will be scattered on Monday with the passage of a warmfront.  Heat and humid air will surge in for Tuesday and highs should eclipse 80...there will also be a good chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.

Have a good weekend.
