Felger & Mazz: May 16, 2013

Felger and Massarotti are broadcasting live from Hurricane O'Reilly's and previewing tonight's Boston Bruins Game 1 against the New York Rangers. Felger gives his reasons why he hates the Rangers. Are the Rangers a hate-able team? Is John Tortorella's style of coaching overrated?

Hour 1

In Hour 2, Felger and Mazz discuss the comments made by Washington Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin. Ovechkin thinks that the league forced a Game 7 between the Caps and New York Rangers for ratings. Kevin Paul Dupont of the Boston Globe joined the guys on-site to preview the start of round two for the Bruins.

Hour 2

During the third hour of Felger and Massarotti, the guys look at Claude Julien and Peter Chiarelli's track records. Does this city underrate Julien? What about general manager Peter Chiarelli? Is he underrated by the fans? Jimmy Murphy from Murphy's Hockey Law and MurphysHockeyLaw.com joined Felger and Mazz at Hurricane O'Reilly's to preview the start of Bruins series against the Rangers and discuss the roles of Julien and Chiarelli. Are there differences in opinion in the Bruins organization?

Hour 3

In the fourth hour, Felger and Mazz took a quick turn away from the Bruins to discuss Doc Rivers returning to the Boston Celtics next season and potential expansion of instant replay in Major League Baseball. Also, Boston Bruins radio color commentator Bob Beers joined Felger and Mazz to discuss the start of the Rangers-Bruins series. Finally, we hear The Final Word with Marc Bertrand.
