The Bruins had a 3-1 lead in their first round playoff series with the Maple Leafs, but the Leafs were able to avoid elimination and force the series to a Game 7.

The Maple Leafs broke the 1-1 tie in the second period of Game 7 and then tacked on two more in the third to take a 4-1 lead and were on their way to eliminating the Bruins in Boston. The B’s had other plans as they went on to score and tie it up with minutes left to force overtime.
