2 People Found Dead Inside Car In Chelsea

CHELSEA (CBS) — Two people were found dead inside a car in Chelsea early Monday morning.

Police were called to Crescent Avenue at about 4 a.m. for a report of a vehicle into a building.

But the car at the scene, which had livery plates, did not strike the commercial building at high speed.

A man and woman were dead inside the car. They have been identified as 51-year-old Zouaoui Dani-Elkebir and 38-year-old Karima El-Hakim, both of Everett. There's no official word yet on how they died.

A law enforcement source told WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Carl Stevens both people had been shot.  The driver's side window appeared to have been blown out.  A person living in the neighborhood told WBZ-TV she heard gunshots.

Police would not comment, only calling the deaths "suspicious."
