Wednesday will mark Bradley’s 20th day in the minor leagues this season since being optioned to Pawtucket last month, which means Boston will avoid having him gain eligibility for free agency following the 2018 season.

Bradley Jr. hit .302 in 11 games for the PawSox, working as the team’s DH in his last two games due to the injury. Bradley Jr. made the Red Sox after a very solid spring, but hit just .097 (3-for-31) in 12 games in the big leagues.
