Belichick: Top Pick Jamie Collins Will Work Primarily At Linebacker

BOSTON (CBS) - The New England Patriots kicked off their rookie minicamp on Friday, and head coach Bill Belichick shed some light on how the team will use their top pick in last week's NFL draft.

Belichick said Jamie Collins, who the Patriots selected 52nd overall last Friday, will begin his work at linebacker.

"I'd say he'll work primarily at linebacker but we'll see how that goes," said Belichick. "Again, he's done different things and eventually as we go through the spring, we'll look at him in different spots and see how it goes with him and also see how it goes with him relative to other players we have and what kind of groupings, just how the team breaks up, maybe where he might be able to help us or where things come together the best for him. We'll have to put all that together as we go."
