ARLINGTON (CBS) – If you have a love affair with food, then you must arrange a date at Tryst.

Located on Mass Ave. in Arlington, Tryst Restaurant is a hundred seat bistro with a comfortably contemporary atmosphere, and food that’s familIar, but far from boring.

From Shrimp Tacos to Sausage Flatbread, to burgers, steaks, and pastas, the only real way to categorize this cusine is simply ‘stuff that tastes good.’

Chef-Owner Paul Turano has always had a passion for food.

“I love to eat, I always question whether it’s eating that I like, or cooking.”

With so many tempting options, deciding what to order can be a challenge… But Paul certainly has his favorites.

“The perfect night at Tryst for me, would be, I’d come in here I’d get an order of Shrimp Tacos, I’d get the chicken because most restaurants don’t really focus on chicken and I think we really do a nice job with it, a big mixed drink, maybe something fruity looking and probably anything with ice cream for dessert. That would be a perfect perfect night.”

And with appetizers around ten dollars, and entrees about twenty, Tryst is a great spot for the perfect date, no matter who you’re dining with.

“You don’t have to have an affair to eat here at Tryst.”

For more food and fun, watch the Phantom Gourmet Sunday at 10:30 and 11 a.m. on myTV38
