Gresh & Zo: No Retaliation By The Bruins After Hit On Marchand

Gresh & Zo opened Thursday’s show talking about the hit Brad Marchand took in the 5-4 win over the Devils last night. In the second period Devils defenseman Anton Volchenkov made contact with Marchand’s head and led with his elbow.

Volchenkov was given a five-minute major for elbowing, as well as a game misconduct. Marchand left the game and did not return after getting assistance to get off the ice.

Were the Bruins right by not reacting to the hit? Should someone have retaliated? The guys debate.
