WBZ-TV is proud to once again be the only local television station broadcasting the 117th Boston Marathon live on Monday, April 15. Once again New Englanders who can’t be in front of their TVs to watch the Boston Marathon will be able to watch the race live online.
CBSBoston.com will be streaming live race coverage beginning at 9 a.m. Lisa Hughes, Steve Burton, Toni Reavis and Kathrine Switzer will be your hosts from the Start to Finish line. Television coverage begins at 8 a.m. on WBZ-TV.
If you are outside of New England, or you’re going to be at work and your company’s computer servers are outside of New England, you may not be able to watch live online. Sorry, the New England border is where our streaming rights end.
HEARTBREAK HILL CAMERA
We are happy to be bringing back our web-exclusive Heartbreak Hill camera to our online offerings this year.
We will be streaming that live camera on CBSBoston.com beginning around 12:15 and throughout the afternoon so that you can pause, say hi to the people at home, and let them know you made it up Heartbreak!
THE FINISH LINE LIVE
When you visit CBSBoston.com on Marathon Monday, there will also be a live camera locked down on the Finish Line starting around 12:15 p.m.
For a permanent archive of your athlete’s finish, you can take advantage of the BAA’s course photographs. Information will be available on the official Boston Marathon website on race day.
